Mechanical Project Manager (Outside IR35)

Mechanical Project Manager MEP Contracting (Building Services) Bedfordshire   Freelance, Outside IR35 One of the UK’s leading, Tier One MEP Contractors requires a Mechanical Project Manager to lead the back end of a small, new-build school scheme in Bedfordshire.  This opportunity is available on a freelance basis for a period of around three months, when it is due to handover. Reporting to the Construction Director, you’ll be responsible for the full mechanical team and various sub-contractors. Duties include: Planning the development of the project and be responsible for any engineering issues. Prepare reports for; capital cost estimates, project schedules, material take off’s and out to tender schedules. Delegation of works to the mechanical engineering and construction team. Leading progress report meetings with the board and client. Use the request for information system to communicate queries with the design team. Preparing risk assessments and method statements. Ensure quality control is up to date through inspections and snagging.
