HGV Mechanic  £44,000- £46,800 Basic + over time paid at time and a quarter for every other Saturday mornings Mon- Fri 8.00-18.00 half hr lunch every other Sat 8.00-13.00 overtime Based in Hounslow with parking on site. At Red Sky w e have an excellent opportunity working for one of our clients a leading fleet business based near Hounslow looking for an experience HGV Mechanic /HGV Technician to join their established business working in a state-of-the-art workshop with a highly successful team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual to become part of a growing team. The successful candidate will oversee the maintenance and repair of the fleet of vehicles, ensuring that all vehicles are running in optimum condition and comply with road safety regulations. HGV Mechanic/ HGV Technician main duties Responsible for maintenance and servicing on all makes of heavy trucks. Report to Workshop Foreman. Deliver promised work on time and to a high-quality standard. To carry out vehicle maintenance and servicing on and off site. Filling in job cards and service sheets with accurate information. Taking pictures of defective or damaged parts for warranty purposes. Filling out manual time sheet. To be responsible for H & S, safe working practices in all working areas for yourself and other workers. Capable of using a tablet of electronic service sheet. HGV Mechanic/ HGV Technician skills and experience required. You will need to be an experienced HGV Mechanic/HGV Technician To provide a 5-year checkable history in order to get an airside pass. Able to pass an enhanced criminal record check. To be available for training courses when requested The ability to work alone and manage your own time. Technical understanding. Good time keeping.
