Summary / Role Purpose The SimAI platform is a SaaS AI-based technology that brings unprecedented speed, innovation, and accessibility to simulation. The Senior Devops Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and scaling the SimAI SaaS platform using tools such as AWS, Kubernetes, Pulumi, Terraform, Python, and Bash. The Senior Devops Engineer will tackle complex issues centered around: Scaling GPU and CPU computing resources Creating new monitoring and alerting capabilities Supporting the SimAI R&D team Deploying new services from AI research The Senior Devops Engineer will collaborate with a team of experts, tasked with end-to-end jobs from problem definition to implementation. Key Duties and Responsibilities Perform complex development activities including cloud deployment and maintenance Use best practices and mentor team members Help scale processes such as release and CI/CD pipelines Conduct root cause investigations and automate release testing Work independently with minimal supervision Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience Software development certification 3 years’ experience managing platforms leveraging Kubernetes Advanced troubleshooting skills Preferred Qualifications and Skills Excellent development practices Curious to learn and test new technologies Experience with distributed systems design Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Perl) Familiarity with programming languages (Python, TypeScript, Rust) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a distributed team WELCOME WHAT’S NEXT IN YOUR CAREER AT ANSYS At Ansys, you will find yourself among the sharpest minds and most visionary leaders across the globe.
