About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our Amazon Logistics Operations Finance team in Europe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing finance-related activities, implementing standardized controllership, reporting, and planning processes for our Delivery Stations across the EU.
You will work closely with our global cross-functional business and tech teams to support our rapidly expanding logistics business, promoting controllership, innovation, productivity, and cost-effective operations across the network.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate financial risks, propose changes, and implement improvements to remediate gaps
- Deliver weekly and monthly financial close, using financial systems and advanced MSExcel functions to work with large data sets
- Work with various data sources, identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, and escalating discrepancies
- Communicate financial data in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner, adjusting style for various audiences
- Identify and implement solutions to resolve, improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance processes
- Make thoughtful time management decisions, prioritizing work, resolving issues, meeting deadlines, and seeking feedback from your manager
