Support Worker

Support Worker Pay rate: From £20,087 to £24,140 pro rata (based on working 37 weeks a year in term time). Contract: Monday - Friday 8:30-4:30 Location: Clynderwen **Please note that we are unable to offer sponsorship for any agency or permanent positions ** Brook Street (BS) Social Care are fortunate enough to be working with a local college specialising in supporting young people with additional needs aged between 16-25 years where you will be responsible for providing students with guidance and make a positive impact on their lives. In addition, you will aid to engage the individuals within the sessions appropriately and help guide them through a range of medical, therapeutic, holistic and nutritional support. You must be able to demonstrate resilience, emotional intelligence and be adaptable to manage emotionally challenging situation. For this role, it is essential you're a driver with access to your own vehicle and happy to undertake some personal care. To be successful, you will have at least 6 months recent experience in support work or a similar setting and transferable skills with the ability to problem solve and think creatively to aid in supporting young people to reach their full potential.
