House Manager (Live in) Opportunity Your role is to ensure that the property and gardens are at all times beautifully presented in order that our guests who range from large family celebrations to three day weddings and corporate events are offered an exceptional flawless service. There is a support team of housekeepers, gardeners, maintenance engineers, chefs and front of house to assist. The Property consists of 17 bedrooms, 13,000 sq ft, as part of a collection of 28 cottages, farmhouses, barns and manors scattered over many thousands of acres comprising of woodlands, lakes and rolling pastures. The reservation itself is a 30 year conservation and English nature restoration project which has incorporated the restoration of these properties by local artisans with each having its own unique character. The Opportunity We are high a high end hospitality business and as such the hours are long and sometimes arduous, and most over weekends and bank holidays. If you are looking for a 9-5 Monday to Friday job, this isn't for you. What is Expected You will need to be energetic and enthusiastic, be prepared to have a learning capacity similar to a sponge, excellent administration efficiencies, love people, and be a determined individual who wishes to succeed in their chosen career - above all you will need endurance to work here ..... Remuneration Depending on your level of experience £34,000-£37,000 gross pa + staff accommodation on site and use of a Morris Minor Traveller for work purposes. The ideal candidate will have a real care for people and the ability to provide welcoming, considered, genuine hospitality. You will be provided with free accomodation, 7 days a week, and be expected to be present 5 days of them 7. The role is an all encompassing hospitality role, with a variety of tasks and duties.
