Job Role: Manual Turner Location: Sheffield Shift: Rotating Shifts, Days and Afters Salary: Salary is £32,266 per annum with a 12.5% shift allowance Metalis are working in partnership with a busy Engineering and Manufacturing business in Sheffield, who due to continuous growth are looking to hire an experienced Manual Turner on a permanent basis. Job Duties: Responsible for Setting and Operating various Manual Turning machines Following Engineering drawings and work instructions Perform regular maintenance checks on machinery Machining exotic materials Loading and unloading appropriate tooling, jigs, fixtures etc Using measuring equipment such as Verniers, Micrometres, Gauges etc Working to fine tolerances Desirable Skills and Attributes: Previous Manual Turning experience with a proven background in machining exotic materials Apprenticeship trained or significant industry experience If you feel that you have the right background for the opportunity, then please apply with your CV.
