Commercial Procurement Business Partner Falmouth Competitive Salary DOE + 25 days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Company Pension (5% Employee, 4% Employer) & Life Assurance + Training and Development + Employee Assistance Programme + Life Assurance 40 Hours per Week Monday to Friday 07:30 to 16:00 (Flexible) Commercial Procurement Business Partner required for an industry leading engineering and repair company. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to play a key role where the work you will carry out will directly support the company in providing their customers with high quality and cost-effective solutions. The successful candidate will need experience working within procurement and will hold a relevant qualification in this field (CIPS / MCIPS / or similar). This role would suit candidates that have come from a technical or engineering background. You will be a confident negotiator and will hold contract knowledge. This role will span across the Commercial and Procurement teams and will work closely with the department heads to negotiate commercial contracts in line with business strategies. This will largely relate to the contracts used towards subcontractors, and will include estimations, submissions of requests for quotes, risk mitigation, and selecting subcontractors / suppliers. This will involve working with both new and existing suppliers. Commercial Procurement Business Partner Role: · Negotiate commercial agreements · Monitor industry trends and ensure the company stay ahead of developing technologies · Build relationships with new and existing suppliers to drive cost reduction · Analyse quotations for the selection of sub-contractors to support the work carried out in the company’s on-site engineering, electrical, paint and fabrication workshops. · Ensure suppliers deliver on contract obligations and any issues are resolved Commercial Procurement Business Partner Candidate: · Experienced procurement professional · Holds a relevant qualification – MCIPS / CIPS, or similar · Experience in an engineering industry
