Think FE is excited to be partnering with a leading college in Cambridgeshire to recruit an ambitious and experienced professional for the role of Assistant Head of Department in Construction & Building Services. With campuses across Cambridgeshire, it supports around 3,500 full-time students and 4,500 apprentices, maintaining high standards of education. Role Overview: The Assistant Head of Department will support curriculum management in Multi-Skills, Property Maintenance Operations, and Bricklaying. You’ll ensure students receive a top-tier learning experience and contribute to driving their success.    You’ll oversee curriculum enhancement for Study Programmes, Apprenticeships, and Adult courses across multiple campuses. A fully qualified teacher with significant construction experience is required.    Important details: You may expect to work rare weekends for college open days. Interviews are on 7th October, so please keep this free! Key Responsibilities: Assist in curriculum development and resource management. Maintain high teaching, learning, and assessment standards. Inspire staff and students to achieve their best. Travel between campuses as required. Qualifications and Skills Required: Extensive teaching experience in Construction. Strong knowledge of the FE sector and relevant industry skills. Current Health & Safety knowledge. Excellent communication, administrative, and organisational skills.
