Salary: £70,000 + Benefits

WFH: 1-2 days a week in Leicester

Company:

Our client, a leader in the industrial supplies domain, is seeking a Development Team Leader to oversee and manage a small team of business systems developers. This role balances team leadership and hands-on development, contributing to their core business system software, ERP, and various integrations and portals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead a small team of developers, manage day-to-day tasks, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Development: Spend 60% of your time on hands-on coding, including development and code reviews.
  • Process Improvement: Define, document, and maintain system processes, and troubleshoot as needed.

Skills & Experience:

  • Required: Strong technical background in PHP, Node.js, SQL, and experience in Agile Software Development.
  • Leadership: Prior experience in team leadership or management, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Desirable: Experience with AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, Cognito), React, Redux, and cloud-based services.
