Customer Delivery Driver

Deliver groceries to customers in their homes, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth shopping experience.

About the role:

• Meet and interact with customers in their homes, building relationships and providing a warm and welcoming service.
• Load and unload groceries from the van, ensuring products are handled with care and delivered to the correct address.
• Manage customer orders, handling substitutions and short codes, and providing a refund for any issues.
• Work independently, using initiative and problem-solving skills to resolve any issues that may arise.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and provide a high level of customer service.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver groceries to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
• Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving any issues.
• Manage customer orders, handling substitutions and short codes.
• Load and unload groceries from the van, ensuring products are handled with care.
• Work independently, using initiative and problem-solving skills to resolve any issues that may arise.

Requirements:

• Valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Able to adhere to the GB Domestic Driving Rules.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to lift and carry groceries.
