HGV Class 1 Driver

HGV Class 1 Driver required for a position with our well-established client in Swadlincote, Derbyshire. The role is a Monday to Friday position with weekend work also available. The start time will be between 03:00am and 08.00am and will usually be between 10-12 hour days. Evening work is also available with start times between 12.00pm and 19.00pm starts. Job role will include: * Either store deliveries or RDC work * 10-12 hour shifts - 45-50 hours per week * Ensuring goods are safely secured * Self tipping cages on store deliveries * Making all deliveries with care and attention not to damage the produce * Completing vehicle defect and maintaining logs * Completing delivery paperwork The Candidate: * A valid full category cat C+E licence * Minimum 1 year HGV Class 1 driving experience * Demonstrate excellent communication skills * Work well with others as part of a team * Have good customer service skills and an eye for detail * Must have a current CPC and Digi card * No more than 6 points on your licence for insurance purposes (no DR/DD/BA offences) Job Type: Full-time Benefits: * On-site parking Schedule: * Day and Night shifts available * Monday to Friday * Weekends Ability to commute/relocate: * Swadlincote: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * Driving: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: * Driver CPC (required) * Valid Tacho
