Senior Full Stack Developer

The Senior Full Stack developer is a key contributor to a highly agile product team, and is responsible for all aspects of products development, including front end interfaces, back-end architectures, and all integrations.What You’ll DoParticipate in all phases of agile software development including design, implementation, and quality assurance.Architect end-to-end systems optimized for speed, scale, and security.Implement requirements, conduct unit testing, and participate in code reviews.Lead new project initiatives from inception through deployment, ensuring high performance, uptime, and scalability.Collaborate within an agile environment, leveraging best practices and pursuing continuous learning opportunities.Design complex systems with considerations for load balancing, latency, reliability, and fault tolerance.Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across application and database layers.Estimate and optimize AWS service costs to maintain budget adherence without compromising performance.Set up and analyze logs and monitoring using AWS CloudWatch or similar tools.Engage with stakeholders to understand and deliver user-centric outcomes.Take ownership of projects, driving them from conceptualization to deployment.Uphold rigorous standards for code quality, application design, and system architecture.What You BringBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.Proficiency in TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js, Express, and React.Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS (PostgreSQL), Cognito, and CloudWatch.Strong understanding of IAM for secure permissions management.Knowledge of RESTful API principles, API security best practices, and database management (e.g., PostgreSQL).Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, Bitbucket (including pipelines), infrastructure as code (CloudFormation, Terraform), and Docker.Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to technical challenges.Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and non-technical audiences.This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension.
