We are seeking a creative and driven Commercial Lines Technical Service Representative (TSR) to join our growing service team. This is a full time, remote working role under a 9 month contract (with consideration of permanent employment at the completion of the term).Job PurposeReporting to the Director of Operations, the successful candidate will communicate effectively and regularly with producers, clients, and underwriters to process, amend and maintain Commercial Lines policies. The Commercial Lines TSR works with internal teams, insurance markets, and vendors to manage the policy lifecycle of new and existing clients; entering data and helping 'raise the bar' on service.Successful BehavioursA positive attitude.A proven track record of exceptional interpersonal interactions and customer service.Strong work ethic and attention to detail.A professional and pleasant telephone manner.An Independent / self-starter.Strong written and oral communication skills.Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively.Work collaboratively as part of a team.Dependable.Deadline driven.Technical skillsAbility to build strong relationships with clients, underwriters and internal teammates.Comprehensive knowledge of commercial insurance products, applications, coverages, and limits; relative to insurance carrier appetite.Ability to identify gaps in coverages.Proficiency with customer relationship management systems (CRM).Experience with broker management systems (BMS) - Vertafore SIGxp preferred.Proficiency with insurance vendor and carrier portals is also an asset.Financial and accounting literacy.Knowledge of MS Word, Excel.Key Result Areas /Essential Functions ResponsibilitiesManaging policy life cycles for new and existing clients, including new business submissions, renewals, re-marketing and endorsements.Processing insurance-related reports and contracts such as property valuations and premium financing agreements.Being the first point of contact for customers in servicing their insurance needs.Assisting producers in the completion of comprehensive submissions for quoting.Reviewing quotations, subjectivities, and policies for accuracy.Administering internal standard operating procedures (SOPs) and underwriting guidelines.Timely processing of endorsements and certificate of insurance (COI) requests.Working effectively with team members and colleagues to accomplish team and organizational goals.Taking actions that respect the needs and contributions of others.Qualifications / ExperienceRIBO licensed, in good standing with required continuing education (CE) hours.Minimum 1 years of commercial insurance experience.CIP, CAIB and CRM designations and/or relative courses are considered an asset.Personal lines experience is considered an asset.Post-secondary education is considered an asset.Ideal candidate is located in London, ON - hybrid roleRemunerationHourly, dependent on experience.Continuing education support and the opportunity to learn from industry leaders.The Ai Insurance Organization Inc. is committed to providing accommodations and achieving a barrier-free workplace for individuals with disabilities.
