BeReal is the fastest growing and most exciting mobile social app of the 2020s. With 23 million monthly active users including 3.5 million in France only, the app has become a daily routine for GenZ with innovative content and high engagement.

As Voodoo is integrating BeReal, the company is looking for a Head of Sales in France to drive ad sales to agencies and brands. As part of this team, you will be a leading member of one of Voodoo’s most exciting projects.

Role

As BeReal’s Head of Sales France, you will be responsible for building the French sales strategy and leading the execution by selling both traditional and innovative ad inventory to key brands, advertisers, and agencies.

You will leverage Voodoo’s unique know-how in app monetization to establish new business for BeReal. You will need extensive brand and agency contacts in France at major Holdcos (Publicis, Dentsu, WPP, Omnicom, Mediabrands and Havas), independent agencies, and brands to succeed. These contacts should be decision makers for trading, social media, and investment teams. You need to have a deep knowledge of the digital advertising landscape. You will also be responsible for the long-term development of business relationships with these prospects.

Within the BeReal team, reporting to BeReal CEO, you will build and structure a sales team to identify, source, pitch, define, negotiate, close, and manage digital advertising revenue. Key responsibilities include:

  • Define our short-term and long-term sales strategy and brand partnership vision to make it an actionable roadmap.
  • Build awareness and adoption around BeReal offering with advertisers through client presentations, conference attendance, and networking events.
  • Combine new business development and sales skills with long-term relationship management.
  • Engage with senior advertiser executives to drive deal growth in the long term.
  • Hire and manage our France sales and account management team.
  • Prove your skills to become our EMEA Head of Sales as the team grows.
  • Communicate effectively internally to coordinate resources (Ads Ops, Publishing Management, User acquisition, etc.) and effectively sell our inventory.
Profile
  • 7 to 15 years of experience in digital ad sales with an outstanding track record in selling ad products to both agencies and brands.
  • You consistently outperformed your targets with at least +€10m sales per year.
  • Social media mobile experience is a strong plus.
  • A sales leader: you have extensive connections across Holdcos, independent agencies, and brands with an outstanding track record in selling advertising solutions.
  • A high degree of creativity, self-motivation, and drive.
  • An expert in managing a portfolio of clients and understanding the mobile ecosystem in a way that you can respond thoroughly and persuasively to the client’s needs and questions.
  • Experience building new initiatives and hiring teams.
