Job Description : Skills : Middleware : Web engineering in Unix platform. Primary Skill Set : Websphere & Weblogic Detailed JD for Web Engineering Unix Experience in deploying clustered, highly available middleware platforms. Deploy, Administer, Support and maintain web(Client/OHS/Apache/IIS) & application( Websphere/Weblogic /) platforms in on-premise & AWS on diverse platforms. Responsible for the installation, maintenance and configuration of JBOSS, Websphere & Weblogic environments. Perform Websphere, Weblogic & JBOSS system administration, troubleshooting, monitoring, problem resolution, system security and change implementation. Able to provide guidelines for WebSphere Application Server backup, restore and disaster recovery. Evaluate and tune performance of WebSphere Application Server and formulate recommendations ( configure caching, queuing, thread pooling parameters and plug-in). Tune WebSphere/weblogic/jboss Application Server JVM configuration ( JVM tuning and garbage collection). Assess and identify appropriate changes and make recommendations for implementation. Work individually or in a team on various Middleware projects related to WAS, Weblogic, Apache, Client,OHS and Application support. Plan, prepare and apply maintenance fixes and upgrades to Websphere, Weblogic & JBOSS software. Assist application support team with high level problem program debugging through heap and thread dump analysis. Provide system support including off shift on call support as and when required. Configure and maintain VIPs on F load balancers. Websphere, Weblogic & JBOSS is highlighted. Apache, ToClientat and Wildfly should be included. Familiar with managing Pharma enterprise platform with qualified, validated & SOX related applications Interact with vendors on support cases Experience with ServiceNow usage Good communication skills and be able to work with multiple teams. Configure and maintain VIPs on F load balancers. Weblogic: Installing and configuring WebLogic domains, Patches and Service Packs Configure node manager, associating manage servers to a machine to control/monitor manage servers on various physical boxes. Deployment and troubleshooting of JAR, WAR, and EAR files in domain and clustered environments Performance monitoring, Performance tuning and Conduct Troubleshooting to resolve WebLogic application problems Perform Code deployment for Migrate/deploy code between Test, Dev, UAT, SIT and production environments. Setup, configure WebLogic for high availability and maintenance, clustering, load balancing including backup and restore for WebLogic Manage Certificate both self-sign and commercial certificate, Add certificate, install and apply certificate to WebLogic applications. Configure JDBC connection pools, data sources for the applications Involve in performance tuning of WebLogic server by fine tuning various parameters like JDBC connection pools, JMS parameters, JVM. Upgradation of WebLogic servers in development, testing and production environment and applying patch and service packs Cluster Configuration – Single Cluster, Multiple Clusters and Deployment over clusters. JMS Configurations– JMS Server, Connection Factory, Foreign JMS server, Message Bridge, Topic/Queue, Distributed destinations Tuning JVM heap size to maximize the number of clients accessing the applications. Monitoring thread usage, connection pool usage, CPU usage, Memory usage and preparing reports for the performance tests, dry run tests and load tests conducted on the Application Servers Liaising with vendors for application issues Carrying out Thread Dump Analysis, Heap dump analysis etc. Developing WLST scripts and auto deployment process WebLogic Administration, Monitoring and Troubleshooting using Admin Console Performance tuning of Web Logic server with respect to heap, threads, and connection pools. Extensive with installing, configuring, and administering IBM WAS , , , and on Unix platform. Hands on experience with installation, configuration administration of IBM Client web server and Plugins on Unix platform. Hands on experience installing, configuring, and administering SiteMinder agent on Unix platform. Must have experience in deploying web and enterprise archive applications in cluster and non-cluster environments. Must have experience in configuring Data Sources for Oracle, SQL Server, and DB database server. Must have experience in managing SSL digital certificates in IBM WAS and Client. Hands on experience with installing latest releases and patches. Excellent troubleshooting skills in WebSphere. Must have experience in JMS messaging queues, analyzing monitoring tools Good understanding Must have basic knowledge in JSON and PYTHON scripting. Must have experience in ticketing tool (ServiceNow) Should have good communication skills and need to work with multiple teams.
