UKG Application Support ConsultantDepartment: HR TECH & WORKFORCE ANALYTICSProgram: Human ResourcesStatus: Temporary Full Time - 1 Year Contract8 Hour Shifts, Days Schedule (Subject to Change)Location: OshawaWage Schedule: $40.490 - $55.120 per hourFile Number: 2400003429Reporting to the Manager of HR Technology & Workforce Analytics, the UKG Application Support Consultant provides specialized expertise in supporting Lakeridge Health’s UKG PRO WFM install. The position will play a key role to manage UKG configuration, ensure the system is continually updated to reflect operational and business changes, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to business processes and workflows within Scheduling, Timekeeping, and Attendance modules of UKG.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:UKG Application and Process Support - 60%:
Manage and provide support for UKG Scheduling, Timekeeping, and Attendance application issues, troubleshooting any technical system problems.
Ensure support and defect resolution processes and procedures are defined, in place, efficient and compliant with internal and external requirements.
Ongoing monitoring of tickets and SLAs, changing processes as required to ensure efficient delivery of HR Technology and Workforce Analytics services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide ongoing support for UKG including configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting.
Work with HR, Finance, and IT teams to support data integrations with HRIS and Payroll including maintaining UKG business structure and UKG CRT's.
Proactively identify and recommend opportunities for operational excellence and process improvements to eliminate inefficiencies and better support business needs.
Ensure day-to-day systems support is balanced with strategic enhancements and projects.
Assess, manage, resolve and escalate (if necessary) risks and issues.
Manage software releases and updates and understand/communicate the potential impact on current and future business needs.
Manage vendor relationships to ensure that service level agreements (SLAs) are met, and to address system issues and enhancements.
Manage and audit user security.
Gather and document business requirements, gaps, recommendations, to-be processes/procedures, functional requirements, configuration, conversion rules, data mapping.
Create test strategies outlining test cases and steps for functional testing.
Lead unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing.
Assist in the management of the requirements and change control throughout large projects with Manager, HR Technology & Workforce Analytics and complete change management requirements for smaller projects independently.
Creating and updating project status reports and milestones.
UKG Analytics - 25%:
Build, generate and distribute various scheduled and adhoc reports to support business requirements. Conduct regular system audits to ensure that data integrity is maintained.
Identify and implement standard methodologies as it relates to analytics and reporting requirements, including documenting report purpose, usage, target audiences, sources, and datasets.
Help build capability for team members to acquire data through their own queries and build their own reports.
Change Management and UKG Service Delivery - 15%:
Identify UKG training needs.
Deliver organized training for new systems as required.
Create quality, easy to use, end user training materials, manuals and quick reference guides.
Create video tutorials and frequently asked questions documents to aid in training.
Refresh documentation as and when upgrades or changes occur.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration, Computer Science, Statistics, and/or supplemented by Information Systems training.
Minimum 3 years' experience UKG Pro WFM Time and Attendance modules, specializing in all configuration related to Shift Patterns, Daily Time / Overtime rules, Paid Time Off (i.e Vacation, Sick days, etc) policies, Pay rate premium tables, Holiday Calendars.
Prior experience in requirements gathering, design, development, and testing of ERP Software.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Highly process oriented with developed quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, problem solving ability and critical thinking skills.
Knowledge and experience of Human Resources processes and trends.
Experience in business analysis and associated consultation with users and other stakeholders.
Strong ability to collaborate with others in order to achieve the best results and deliver the most value.
Experience in a unionized, healthcare, manufacturing, or equally complex sectors environment is required.
