Director, Construction and Development

MatchBox Consulting Group is looking for a Project Manager in Calgary, AB. Over the past eight years, our client has showcased proficiency in middle housing in Canada, completing the construction of almost 200 gentle-density homes and over 300 apartment units in well-established neighborhoods. Among these projects, several have received recognition as award-winning developments on local, national, and international levels.RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversee both the development and construction teams, managing project budgets and ensuring successful project delivery from start to finish.Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive project plans, including scheduling, budgeting, quality assurance, and communication.Collaborate with the Development Team on early design feasibility, manage consultants, and oversee City of Calgary permit applications.Establish and manage construction contracts, oversee hard cost budgets, and administer change management, including RFIs and change orders.Monitor construction progress, quality, and compliance with municipal requirements, coordinating resolutions as needed.Ensure seamless project completion and handover, reviewing and issuing turnover documents on time.REQUIREMENTS:5-10 years experience in the construction & development industryStrong English communication skillsInterest in leadership responsibilitiesMF experience (townhomes ideal) from a Development Background #J-18808-Ljbffr
