Health & Safety Coordinator

Toromont Cat is looking for a Health & Safety Coordinator to join our team!

This position plays a critical role in supporting the department, management, and our internal team on company H&S initiatives. This role requires candidates to be bilingual.

In a typical day, YOU will:

1. Demonstrate safe and environmentally sound work behaviors at all times in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policy, Programs, and initiatives
2. Provide admin assistance to H&S team by handling all incoming calls and inquiries, mail/fax, maintain department filing system, and processing invoices and contracts
3. Update new employee information in respective H&S program in addition to preparing onboarding packages
4. Qualify & collect contractor information and documents for Toromont Cat job sites
5. Coordinate distribution of safety material to all branch locations
6. Update H&S training records and review incidents in Health & Safety Reporting System to ensure timely and accurate completion of investigation and corrective actions

Must-haves for this role:

1. Minimum post-secondary education
2. 2 years of experience in an administrative position
