Technical Sales Representative

Join our client's team at a leading supplier of wood processing machinery for the Sawmill, Pulp and Paper, and Biomass/Pellet manufacturing industries. We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative with the following qualifications:Thorough knowledge of wood-processing machineryStrong grasp of the sales processSelf-motivation and a commitment to successMechanical aptitudeExceptional communication and networking abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsExperience with CRM systems is advantageousAs a member of our client's Sales Team, your duties will encompass:Conducting outside sales activities, including quoting, site visits, customer follow-up, and reporting on activitiesParticipation in national and international trade showsDelivering sales presentations to clients and providing technical support to customersFlexibility in working hours to prioritize customer needsRequirementsPossession of a valid driver’s license and passportAbility to travel within Canada and the USA without restrictionsAnticipated travel of 30-50% across North America post-COVID-19 travel restrictionsPotential for global travelThis full-time role, based in Surrey, BC, reports directly to the President.
