Our client is a leading digital company with around 100,000+ employees globally, operating in 69 countries providing end-to-end solutions across multiple industries. Being one of the leading companies in cloud computing they are looking for a Global Lead Buyer for IT software. They are looking for a full-time Global Lead Buyer Software to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of purchasing, IT, software services, cloud services like AWS, Azure, and GCP, negotiation, and liaising with senior stakeholders. They will also have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role. The primary responsibility of this role will be to achieve results that save money or provide value and quality. In addition, they are responsible for ensuring that internal customers are satisfied in terms of cost, quality, deadlines, and service level agreements from suppliers. This includes developing and executing strategies to source and negotiate software contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that the company gets the best possible value for its software purchases. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with excellent communication, negotiation, and IT purchasing skills. They will also be able to liaise with very senior stakeholders at the group level. Responsibilities: Develop a strategy and action plan for the software scope with a focus on cloud software by analyzing the needs of internal clients. Develop and execute strategies to source and negotiate software contracts Manage supplier relationships Ensure that the company gets the best possible value for its software purchases Liaise with group-level senior and director stakeholders Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field 7+ years of experience in software procurement Strong understanding of purchasing, cloud, and IT software Excellent communication and negotiation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team If you are interested in this position, please send your resume to [email protected].
