As a pricing analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing existing client profitability, setting prices for new clients on existing and new products, and determining the ideal target price to meet target margin expectations. Duties include providing thorough analytical breakdowns of pricing structures, and communicating effectively across account management, sales, operations, and finance teams to identify specific strategies used in pricing models.

  • Develop, support, and present pricing strategies and recommendations for new business quotations, RFPs and renewals to account management and executives within aggressive timelines.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in existing pricing structures, strategies and processes.
  • Assessing data from a variety of sources to gain insights into internal costing and pricing strategies.
  • Tracking customer engagement to develop effective pricing strategies for products and offerings.
  • Applying statistical modeling methods to determine the potential impact of pricing strategies on profitability.
  • Recommending pricing strategies that align closely with market trends
  • Forecasting revenue and market share based on market trends, production costs, profit margins, and sales volumes.
  • Collaborating with sales and marketing departments on developing and implementing competitive pricing strategies.
  • Developing dynamic pricing tools to effectively respond to changing market needs and trends.
  • Preparing and presenting pricing analysis findings to executives, marketing teams, and sales staff.
  • Update monthly reporting files.
  • Provide Ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed.
  • Assist in quarterly creation and maintenance of partner portfolios and special-handled accounts.

Additional Job Description

  • A bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or in a related field.
  • Strong ability to think outside the box and recommend additional strategies.
  • A minimum of five years' experience as a pricing analyst in a similar industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Working experience with Microsoft PowerBI, and SQL is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis.
  • Extensive experience in analyzing pricing strategies and forecasting revenue and market share.
  • Experience in collaborating on pricing strategies with sales and marketing departments.
  • Advanced ability to present pricing analysis reports to rexlevant stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and communication (oral, written) skills.
