Key responsibilities include:
- Providing robust fundamental analysis and engaging in trading strategies
- Developing and maintaining models, reviewing past analysis, and owning pricing tools and trading-decision models
- Providing market and competitor intelligence to identify areas to add value
The role requires a degree-level education in a numerate subject, such as science, maths, economics, or engineering, and working knowledge of UK power markets.
Desirable skills include:
- Experience with statistical and fundamental modelling using IT techniques such as SQL, Python, Excel, and Business Intelligence tools
- Practical experience with linear and mixed integer programming, and commercial optimisers
