Are you a seasoned HR professional with a strong background in learning and development, ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role? We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time HR Consultant to join a vibrant and fast-paced housing department within a local authority in West London.

Role Overview:
Location: West London (3 days a week in the office)
Pay Rate: £350 per day (Umbrella PAYE)
Contract Type: Full-time
Duration: Temproary - Ongoing

Key Responsibilities:

As an HR Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the department by:

Training and Development: Designing, delivering, and evaluating comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs of our staff. You'll be instrumental in upskilling teams and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Casework Management: Handling a variety of complex HR casework, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance management. You'll provide expert advice and support to managers and staff, ensuring compliance with employment law and organisational policies.

Strategic HR Support: Working closely with senior management to align HR strategies with departmental goals. Your insights and expertise will contribute to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the housing department.

Policy Implementation: Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that support a high-performance culture and meet the specific demands of the housing sector.

Requirements:

CIPD Level 7 Qualification: Essential for demonstrating your advanced HR knowledge and capabilities.
Extensive HR Experience: Proven track record in both learning and development, as well as handling complex casework within a challenging environment.
Sector Knowledge: Previous experience working within a housing or public sector setting is highly desirable, given the unique challenges and demands of the role.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior management, staff, and external partners.
