Cloud Architect

Responsibilities encompass, but are not confined to:

• Collaborating with BDM Enterprise Architecture to create, oversee, and sustain architectures for cloud infrastructure and cloud solutions.
  
• Offering proficiency across various cloud service domains, including compute, storage, network, security and access, database, application hosting, virtual desktop infrastructure, and operations management.
  
• Providing in-depth knowledge regarding the service offerings of selected cloud service providers, including their SLAs, service lifecycles, and support. Understanding and communicating how Cloud Infrastructure and Cloud Solutions' Architectures interact with and support other technologies and information systems.
  
• Facilitating the investigation, assessment, and choice of cloud technology and product standards, along with the design of standard configurations.
  
• Evaluating the organizational impact, encompassing factors like skills, processes, structures, and culture, as well as the financial implications of current and future technology roadmaps and decisions.
  
• Identifying, documenting, and proposing standards and reusable solution patterns for the enterprise Cloud Architecture or BDM Programme Architecture.
  
• Providing expertise and consultation on technology implementations and modification activities, particularly those related to shared cloud infrastructure and cloud solutions spanning multiple projects or benefit programs. Offering guidance on financial management and service management for cloud services.
