Position Overview

We're expanding our Sales team! With the anticipated increase in projects, we're thrilled to announce an opening for a Contract Coordinator in our Industrial Sales team. This exciting fast paced role supports sale and lease transactions for Beedie’s speculative industrial projects across North America. This individual will play a critical role in coordinating, organizing, documenting, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders for industrial strata and lease transactions. Additionally, this is a critical role to coordinating contract documentation and drafting communication for all transactions. This role will have exposure to and be an important part of all aspects of the transactions, sales and marketing platform as well as development and construction activities at an exciting and dynamic development company.

Salary Range

The annual base pay range for this position will be based on the desired experience level for this role. Additionally, Beedie recognizes exceptional individual and team performance through our pay-for-performance bonus program. Key Responsibilities

  • Track all strata sales and speculative lease transactions, including waiver, deposits, and any critical dates or terms, and provide updates to construction, accounting, finance, marketing, and service plus departments
  • Assist with drafting communication on notice of offers and notice of transactions to various internal departments
  • Provide support for the preparation, populating and execution of documents required for completion of all Letters of Intent, Leases, Purchase and Sale Agreements and other legal documentation as required
  • Assist with the compilation and review of all materials necessary for outgoing proposals
  • Coordinate vendor set up for external parties and assist accounting team with verification and processing of invoices relating to speculative projects
  • Maintain integrity of information within the brokers Due Diligence Folder, Purchaser’s Contractor’s Folder and internal folders
  • Assist with the creation of due diligence materials in preparation for project launches
  • Assist with organizing and following up on consultant deliverables including, lawyers, brokers, surveyor, and property manager 
  • Oversee the closing process: liaise with internal / external legal departments, assist with the compilation and review of closing documents including the Statement of Adjustments
  • Maintaining integrity of information in SharePoint and the CRM for all aspects of transactions (sale or lease)
  • Coordinate and attend internal and external meetings, track deliverables and action items
