School Support Assistant

This flexible role allows you to make a positive impact on children's lives outside of regular school hours. Key Responsibilities: Assisting in the supervision of children during breakfast and after-school club activities Helping with the preparation and serving of healthy meals or snacks Organizing and leading fun, age-appropriate activities such as games, crafts, and sports Ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times Assisting with set-up and clean-up of the club area before and after sessions Supporting children with any individual needs and fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphereIdeal Candidate: Previous experience working with children, ideally in a school or childcare setting A passion for creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work flexibly, including mornings and afternoons Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one (required) Access to own vehicle would be beneficial for this role.
