Our client, a high performance law firm, is seeking a Corporate Services Paralegal to join their team in Vancouver!

About The Role

This role is reporting to the Corporate Services Manager, and will work alongside the Corporate Services team to provide legal services to Lawyers & clients.

Responsibilities

• Conducting corporate searches in BC, Canada, USA, and overseas.
• Preparation of documents relating to B.C., Federal, extra provincial companies, limited partnerships, and societies/not-for-profit, including name reservations, business name registrations, incorporations, name changes, director and officer changes, change of registered and records office, dividends, redemptions, voluntary dissolutions, and restorations.
• Reviewing and maintain filings in virtual minute books.
• Respond to client inquires and independently manage files.
• Preparation of documents to correct minute book deficiencies.
• Assist with the preparation of annual documents for B.C., Federal, Societies and extra provincial entities.
• Attend to various filings and registrations with the B.C. Registry and Corporations Canada.
• Other duties as required.
  
  

What You Bring

• 5+ years' experience in Corporate Records.
• Completion of an accredited Paralegal Studies program.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Good knowledge of ALF corporate program is considered a strong asset.
