Their team, comprised of about 60 members, is spread across key locations such as the US, Canada, UK, and Brazil. They boast support from renowned gaming investors like Andreessen Horowitz, Makers Fund, and Dune Ventures. Drawing experience and expertise from industry giants such as Zynga, Playtika, Epic Games, Scopely, Moonbug, among others, their team brings invaluable insights and experiences to the table.

About the Role:

As a Partnerships Manager, your role will be pivotal in driving revenue growth through the acquisition of brands for activation or advertising within their Roblox and Fortnite games. Our client operates some of the largest games in the Driving and Sports categories on Roblox, with a combined monthly user base of 25 million players. These games attract users that brands often find challenging to engage with, namely Gen Z's and Gen Alpha's. Our client offers a unique opportunity for brands to connect with these demographics in an immersive manner.

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Partnerships Manager to join our client's Growth team. In this role, you will oversee the entire sales process, from initial outreach to contract negotiation. You will ensure smooth integration with the game teams, manage client accounts during activations, and secure renewals for ongoing partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Outreach and Prospecting:

  • Identify and approach potential brands interested in advertising within our games.

  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads through proactive outreach initiatives.

  • Engage potential clients using a variety of channels such as email, phone calls, and networking.

  • Customized Pitch Decks:

  • Craft compelling and tailored pitch decks that align with each brand's objectives and target audience.

  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of advertising within our games during presentations to potential clients.

  • Contract Negotiation and Closing:

  • Lead negotiations with potential clients to secure partnership agreements.

  • Close deals by highlighting the benefits of advertising within our games and addressing any concerns.

  • Integration and Activation Management:

  • Collaborate closely with internal game development teams to ensure seamless integration of brand activations within our games.

  • Act as the primary contact for clients throughout the activation process, promptly addressing any issues or requests.

  • Account Management:

  • Serve as the key liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring client expectations are met.

  • Monitor campaign performance and provide regular updates and reports to clients.

  • Renewal and Upsell:

  • Proactively identify opportunities for upselling and renewing partnerships with existing clients.

  • Strive to exceed sales targets and revenue goals through effective account management and relationship building.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated success in sales or business development roles, particularly in digital advertising or media sales.

  • Proficient negotiation skills coupled with a proven ability to close deals and foster revenue growth.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.

  • Experience with gaming platforms like Roblox and Fortnite is advantageous.

  • Capable of working autonomously, managing priorities, and meeting deadlines within a dynamic environment.

  • Enthusiasm for gaming and a comprehensive understanding of industry trends and dynamics.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Partnerships/Sales within the tech sector, preferably with a focus on gaming.
