Field Service Engineer

A great opportunity for an electrical bias field service engineer to join a growing team dedicated to providing the best service. Job Description: Deliver exceptional customer service. Attend customers site in a timely manner to carry out the task assigned. Respond to customer demand promptly and professionally. Provide additional support to customers and prospective customers with other types of wrapping & packaging equipment. Assist with trials where required. Install new machines and provide full operator training. Liaise with: Customers both on site and to help to diagnose problems over the phone. The engineering and admin team The Sales Team This post does involve regular travel and overnight stays at short notice, as required. Weekend work is rare although sometimes necessary. Participation in training courses, as and when instructed.Beneficial Skills / Attributes & Qualifications: Recognised electrical engineering qualification. Field engineering experience Ability to stay away in the week - flexibility in hours if required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to be a team player. Full UK driving licence. Polite telephone manner. The ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines. Self-Motivation. The ability to provide a digital job report on completion of a daily task using excellent English/Grammar.Package details: A company vehicle - inclusive of all service and maintenance, with the use of personal fuel. Any specialised tools required to maintain supported machinery. Mobile Phone. Ipad. A company credit card to cover company expenses. £40k-£50k salary 40-45hrs per week on site + travel 2x nights away from home on average per week Every 5th weekend will be required to be on call to take a breakdown phone call should a customer need some support - This is a very rare occurrence Weekend work - very, very rare although if it's necessary to keep the customers in production then needs must. This is shared out into a 5th week rota - No weekend breakdown call outs last year
