Project Manager (Civils)

Job Role: Project Manager- Civils Salary: £50k + company car, performance related bonuses Location: Office based role in Strood with occasional travel to Southeast sites Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm I am excited to be recruiting for a local telecomms cabling specialist who is doubling in turnover every year! This multi-million £ local firm look after their staff with regular social events in London, performance related bonuses in summer and at Christmas and flexibility in hours. Due to growth, I am sourcing an experienced project manager to take ownership of all Civils projects for the business. There are currently circa 80 live jobs that need to be managed including permit coordination, subcontractor management and client support. The MD wants to drive Civils as a key revenue stream for 2024-25 so this is an exciting time to bring your expertise to an already very successful company. Duties will include: Ownership and management of all civils jobs from survey to planning to closure Managing client requests through job portals Liaising with Road Traffic Management companies, councils, and clients to communicate realistic start and end dates for key jobs in the southeast Tracking and impacting progression of jobs through effective planning and communication Monitoring costs Daily updates to clients Hosting client meetings to discuss current and upcoming jobs Occasional site meetings with clients Allocating jobs through network of SubcontractorsThe perfect candidate: Knowledge of supporting projects in civils and ideally telecomms Knowledgeable of Traffic Management principles Excellent stakeholder management Confident in ability to take ownership of the division and in time grow the project portfolioWhy work for my client: Social events throughout the year- going to London this week to watch the football, have a summer party, Xmas party, golf days and more Performance related bonus in summer and at Xmas Company car Opportunity to develop division Flexible employer to adapt to employee lifestyle needsReady to get started?
