Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic
Account Director
to lead our B2B client accounts within the finance sector. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of the finance industry, exceptional client management skills, and a proven track record of leading successful PR campaigns. This role offers the flexibility of an 80% hybrid work model, with the expectation of being in-office for client meetings, team collaboration, and key events. Key Responsibilities: Client Leadership:
Serve as the primary point of contact for high-profile financial clients, ensuring strong relationships and seamless communication. Strategic Development:
Lead the development and execution of comprehensive PR strategies tailored to the unique needs of the finance sector, including media relations, thought leadership, content creation, and reputation management. Team Leadership:
Oversee and mentor a team of account managers and PR professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and excellence. Campaign Execution:
Manage the end-to-end delivery of PR campaigns, ensuring they are executed on time, within budget, and achieve measurable results. Business Development:
Identify opportunities for account growth and lead new business pitches within the finance sector. Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with media, influencers, and key stakeholders in the finance industry to maximize client visibility and reputation. Key Qualifications: Proven experience as an Account Director or Senior Account Manager in a PR agency, preferably with a focus on B2B and finance clients. Deep knowledge of the finance sector and an understanding of the unique PR challenges and opportunities within this industry. Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. A strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute impactful PR strategies. A network of media and industry contacts within the finance sector is highly desirable.
