Job Requirements / Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for working with pupils who have a range of emotional and behavioural difficulties, providing them with the necessary support and guidance to succeed in their education.
The role is based in Westminster and the daily rate for this position is £80-£90. The successful candidate will be required to work on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting pupils with SEMH needs in a primary school setting
Working closely with class teachers to plan and deliver targeted interventions
Providing one-to-one support to pupils as required
Helping pupils to develop their social, emotional, and behavioural skills
Managing and supporting small groups of pupils
Keeping accurate records of pupils' progress and sharing this information with teachers and parentsThe ideal candidate will have:
Experience of working with SEMH pupils in a primary school setting
A relevant teaching assistant qualification
A good understanding of the needs of SEMH pupils
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work well as part of a team
