Are you a passionate and dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children with additional needs? TeacherActive is happy to be partnering with a SEND school in South Benfleet, and we are now looking for a SEN TEACHER to join their dedicated team. a flourishing, welcoming school in South Benfleet that is dedicated to the idea that every child should receive the finest education possible, customised to meet their specific requirements. This school provides a great foundation for kids to feel appreciated and at ease, which enhances each student's academic growth. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs. Deliver high-quality, differentiated teaching to support the academic, social, and emotional development of SEN students. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, support staff, and other professionals to provide holistic support for students. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation. Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and other stakeholders. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated with the latest SEN teaching strategies and practices. Liaise with external agencies and specialists to support the diverse needs of our students. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Proven experience working as an SEN Teacher, preferably within a school setting. Strong knowledge of SEN best practices and legal requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create a nurturing and supportive learning environment. Commitment to ongoing professional development and collaboration.
