This permanent employment opportunity is based in the Toronto, Ontario area.What you get to do every single day:The successful candidate will review and analyze all the general ledger transactional records for accuracy and appropriateness. Ensuring that all financial records, documents, and systems are in compliance with established accounting standards, procedures, and internal controls;Review and analysis of all tenant rent roll records to ensure they are up to date and accurate;Compilation and tracking of lease commissions;Monthly bank reconciliations;Assisting with the preparation of the year end process – compiling the working documents necessary for the audit review and managing the response to all audit requests as part of the year end reporting and corporate tax filing process;Compilation and reconciliation of CAM (TMI) on a quarterly and annual basis;Analysis and reconciliation of AP & AR Subledgers monthly, quarterly and annually;Monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliation of all intercompany accounts;Monthly cash flow statements preparation and forecasts.Bachelor's Degree in Accounting5+ years of property accounting experienceStrong technical background in public accounting (GAAP)Be able to prioritize workload and perform in a fast-paced and challenging environmentStrong communication skills, both verbally and in writingAccounting Software Systems experienceQuality experience with Budget ProcessesProven knowledge of Accounting FunctionsPractical knowledge of auditingExcellent analytical, quantitative and social skillsRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
