Project Engineer / Operations Excellence Specialist What You Will Be Doing: Responsible for research and analysis, mapping out all workflows, removing waste and low-value activities from processes, and recommending and implementing solutions to increase efficiency, productivity and reduce costs. Design, modify and troubleshoot equipment used in manufacturing and chemical processes. Read and conduct basic design of 3D Models within AutoCAD. Monitor and improve operational processes, lead and support change initiatives, projects, and collaborate with the Warehouse leadership team. Optimize Engineering & Warehouse Processes throughout the plant. Support and lead initiatives to identify and drive change across the organization using existing business processes such as gap analysis, Plan Do Check Act (PDAC) or Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve & Control (DMAIC). Identify gaps and sustainable opportunities for improvement within the warehouse from a productivity, efficiency or space optimization perspective. Coordinate and lead projects for improvement across different levels of the organization. Establish standards for projects in order to track overall progress and compare with actual results. Ensure end-to-end value propositions are prioritized and realized. Analyze data regularly with the intent to generate detailed reports for multiple levels within the organization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on workshops, team trainings to share expertise and provide guidance for organizational alignment. Stay up to date with industry trends for best practices. What You Bring to the Table: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Process Engineering is preferred). Experience working within a high volume and complex manufacturing environment; 3-5 years experience within a manufacturing/distribution environment utilizing continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, Accelerated Root Cause, and Transactional Lean Processes. Project management experience from inception to completion. Understanding of Engineering within a distribution plant. Proven ability to communicate and build relationships. Experience with AutoCAD (3D Modelling). Nice To Haves: Experience with Minitab. Ability to travel to various locations. Experience with MS Office Suites. #J-18808-Ljbffr
