Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Chief Financial Officer to join the team. Location: London Salary: £(Apply online only)K + package (DOE) Job Type/Hours: Permanent. Full Time About The Company: Our client is a growing UK-head quartered bank, who have experienced exponential growth over recent years. They offer a range of banking and treasury services to individuals and organisations across the UK, with a strong and experienced senior leadership at the helm. Due to continued growth, and their plans to diversify their services over the next 3-5 years, they are looking to bring on board a Chief Financial Officer who will be a core member of their Executive Committee and contribute significantly to their future success.   Chief Financial Officer – The Role: This is a key role for the organisation as they look to drive growth and will deputise for the CEO in their absence. As a key member of the Executive Committee the role will be responsible for all aspects of finance, treasury and operations, and will be expected to contribute commercially to the organisation by providing insight and ideas into how to diversify the business. You will ensure that the board is aware of all relevant events and will be the PRA approved person at SMF 2 & SMF 24 Chief Financial Officer – Key Responsibilities: - Provide strategic financial support to CEO, setting the overall financial strategy and make significant contributions to the overall business strategy - Lead on the communication of day to day business operation from a financial and operational perspective - Ensure the timely and accurate production of key reports - Manage, develop and mentor a multidisciplinary team covering Finance, Treasury, IT and Operations - Maintain control of all financial systems and processes within the business, ensuring continuous improvement of the entire function - Act as the PRA approved person and the Senior Accounting Officer for HMRC matters Chief Financial Officer – You: - Fully qualified accountant with previous experience of working in a senior leadership role within the banking sector - Sound commercial knowledge and data analysis skills - Results orientated and able to make financial, commercial and operational recommendations to improve overall business performance - Prior experience of working within a fast-growing organisation Chief Financial Officer – Benefits: -Private healthcare -Social & team bonding events across the business and wider group To submit your CV for this exciting Chief Financial Officer opportunity, please click ‘Apply’ now
