Main Purpose of the Role:
Working closely with the Global Sustainability Director, the role will include engaging with variousstakeholders, focusing on supporting and delivering on sustainability projects and tasks. TheSustainability Section is looking for a detail-oriented, dynamic, and experienced individual to supportthe various sustainability strategies, initiatives and programs across our group. This individual willembrace our sustainability culture and be passionate about advancing sustainable priorities in circulareconomy and climate change. To support the Global Director of Sustainability in the delivery of Makinga Digital Difference Sustainability Strategy aligned to UN SDG Goals including social value, sustainableprocurement and carbon reduction.

• Execute, coordinate and support projects, programs and strategies identified in the ConvergeMaking a Digital Difference Sustainability Framework and action plan.
• Coordinate and support Converge Sustainability Leadership Team and create and manageproject controls such as data gathering, management and analytical processes.
• Engage and collaborate with internal and external groups of interest and key networks onsustainability matters.
• Coordinate the implementation, training, education and awareness of the Making a DigitalDifference Framework across the group.
• Support the data collection, annual progress reporting and development of key performanceindicators such as carbon footprint and social value.
• Research and prepare reports, correspondence, oral presentations for prospective communitypartners, client groups, and internal management teams.
• Track new sustainability regulations, disclosures and policies (e.g. single-use plastics, organics,climate change/air quality and international sustainability disclosures).
• Consult and work alongside key internal and external stakeholders to establish and promote aproject-wide social value delivery plan with clear objectives, milestones and targets
• Co-designing Social Value projects identified through Sustainability Leadership Team , andmeasures to accelerate and support our engagement with key communities, specialist andunderrepresented groups and delivering these projects.
• Raise the profile of Converge in the delivery of sustainability with external and internalstakeholders.
• Create, Import, promote and share good practice models and case studies.
• Work with internal communications team to agree appropriate channels and produce contentfor successful and timely submissions to local, regional and national award panels.
• To undertake any other ad hoc duties or projects as requested by the reporting Manager.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:
• Post-secondary degree from a recognized university or college in sustainability, or related field.
• Minimum of two (2) years or equivalent combination of education and experience in
sustainability programs or similar initiatives;
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the principles of sustainability policydevelopment, familiarity with environmental legislation, environmental and social sustainability,and community engagement;
• Knowledge and understanding of current and innovative approaches in sustainability
• Experience in delivering environmental and sustainability actions and projects including carbonmeasurement is preferred.
• Knowledge of the role of programs and public sector agencies to support social mobility,community regeneration and diverse and underrepresented groups.
• Knowledge of the IT sector, preferred.
• 1 year of experience with Project Management skills, preferred.
