We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Division Material Flow Manager to join our clients Division Supply Chain Team. This is your opportunity to own the Finished Goods Strategy, drive the S&OP process, and lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance both customer experience and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities of the Material Flow Manager:
- Strategy Coordination: Oversee the Finished Goods Strategy to ensure coherence between categories, stocking strategies, and sales lead times.
- Systems Management: Update and manage sales lead times in our systems for accuracy and efficiency.
- Standardisation: Standardise item setup and planning documents across all locations for consistency and efficiency.
- Team Development: Upskill and develop supply chain team members, fostering growth and expertise.
- S&OP Ownership: Lead the S&OP process, including demand forecasting and operations planning to align with business goals.
- Tool Implementation: Support the implementation of corporate and group methodologies and tools such as ePFEP, eCapacity, eProcurement, KanbanBOX, etc.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive supply chain improvements with a focus on customer experience, inventory management, and productivity.
- Customer Service Initiatives: Coordinate initiatives to enhance customer service, aligning with customer and business requirements.
- Inventory Reduction: Lead initiatives to reduce inventory levels while maintaining operational efficiency.
Expected Qualifications, experience, and skills of the Material Flow Manager:
Education: Minimum bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance).
Experience: At least 5 years' experience in the manufacturing industry with a strong background in supply chain, production control, and planning processes.
Skills:
- Excellent analytical thinking, planning, and communication skills.
- Proven track record in driving cross-functional improvement projects and practical knowledge of Lean Principles. Strong lateral leadership skills to influence and guide teams.
Travel: Willingness to travel for business (approximately 25%).
