Product Designer

We're on the lookout for a unique talent to join our team as a Designer to work with our founding designer, Edouard Wautier. Working as a designer in an early-stage team means being “hands on” on a broad scope, being comfortable with core Product design skills, but not shying away from Brand, Research and… Coding if needed. This role is for somebody that’s outcome-focused with a “no-ego-do-what-it-takes” attitude to help the company and the product move forward. Responsibilities User-Centric Design: Employ a deep understanding of our users to design solutions that address their needs, enhance their productivity, and elevate their experience with our products. Bridge the Gap: Designing for the product, you don’t stop at Figma. You make sure your involved up to the experience delivered to our users by working tightly with engineering team . Iterative Improvement: Champion an iterative design process, incorporating user feedback and data into design enhancements. Advocacy and Mentorship: Promote best practices in design and front-end development within the team, mentoring peers as needed. Requirements A few years of experience in Product Design (UX, UI, Prototyping) Mastery of design tools (e.g. Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) Understanding and appetite for front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JS) A genuine interest in the field of artificial intelligence The ability to defend views with conviction and arguments but also gracefully change them when new information suggests to do so A data-driven mindset that can make decisions quickly while reasoning insightfully about complex or incomplete analyses A “do-what-it-takes”, impact-oriented attitude that can effectively prioritise without lingering on the details that won’t make a difference Compensation and Benefits If you decide to join us, your total compensation package will be refined during the course of your interview process, in line with the level of craft and impact we expect you to bring to Dust.
