Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Fitter Location: LE67 Desford Salary: Up to £54k Working Days: 4 days on 4 days off (Weekly rotational) Shift Pattern: Day week: 05:30 to 18:00 Night Week: 17:30 to 06:00 Mechanical Maintenance fitter / Maintenance fitter / Mechanical Fitter / Desford We are pleased to collaborate with a top UK manufacturing company that creates pre-cast products for construction. Main duties and responsibilities of a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter: Utilizing CMMS for maintenance reporting Recording breakdowns via MBRs Completing TPM/PPM tasks Monitoring all process stages closely Ensuring safe installation of correct spare parts Resolving stoppages and faults, requesting support as needed Following site PPE guidelines Working independently in a small team, making decisions and handling electrical repairs Proficiency in PLCs and related automated equipment, skilled in diagnosing hydraulic and pneumatic system issues Maintenance Mechanical Fitter must conduct fault diagnostics and repairs Potentially requiring specialist training away from home Upholding safety standards and environmental regulations Maintaining high site cleanliness Experience/knowledge requirements for the Mechanical Fitter role: NVQ in mechanical maintenance engineer Mechanical Maintenance Fitter should be experienced in welding, burning and cutting COSHH LOTOTO Risk assessments and one minute risk assessment Forklift licence Lifting / slinging & overhead crane training HAV training Benefits Pension Scheme 25 days plus bank holidays per year Holiday entitlement Well-being support Ready to take on this exciting opportunity?
