Shop and Field Hand Must have own transportation Class 5 License & clean abstract is required Steel toed boots required
General Responsibilities: Abide by the policies set forth in the Company’s quality and Safety manuals, maintain safety standards at all times in the shop and yard, wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Assist with installation and maintenance on natural gas micro CHPs at various locations. Spot / move heavy equipment Complete other duties as required
As a member of the Maintenance Team, the Shop and Field Hand will report directly to the Project Manager, and will work out of our Sherwood Park, AB base location. The primary function of this position is to assist with tasks both inside and outside of the shop.
Mechanical Aptitude is appreciated, previous experience in a similar role is preferred: electrical, plumbing, parts, maintenance, mechanical, operations etc. Demonstrate commitment to safety, pro-actively identifying and addressing potential hazards in the shop and on the job-site. Hardworking, works well alone, self-starter, highly organized, orderly, meticulous Mature workers who pride themselves on reliability are encouraged to apply.
