A reputable firm in Sheffield is seeking a skilled Mechanical Pump Fitter to join their dynamic team, providing a chance to work with a variety of rotating equipment and contribute to critical root cause analyses. Based on 39 hours per week Monday to Friday and offers a very competitive salary of £37,000 - £40,000 (DOE) This permanent role would also suit somebody with experience as a Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical maintenance engineer / Mechanical technician / Multi - Skilled Engineer / Pump Technician / Pump Engineer Role Essentials: * Conduct precise measurements and analyses to identify and resolve mechanical issues * Apply your mechanical prowess in the maintenance and repair of pumps and rotating equipment * Utilise industry-standard tools and equipment with a commitment to safety and efficiency * Collaborate with a team of professionals dedicated to upholding high-quality standards Skills & Experience: * Proven experience in a mechanical environment, specifically within the pump industry- Proficiency in handling rotating equipment and performing thorough root cause analysis * Capability to travel for short periods to fulfil specific site work requirements * A qualification in Mechanical Engineering (NVQ L3 or C&G Equivalent) This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about mechanics and take pride in their ability to maintain and repair complex machinery.
