Job Requirements / Description
Postdoctoral researcher in Tomographic Diffractive Microscopy (TDM) for the Study of Tissue MorphogenesisAt LP2N, Bertrand Simon is deploying tomographic diffractive microscopy (TDM) approaches in collaboration with Gaëlle Recher, who is interested in the tissue morphogenesis of self-organising systems. This postdoctoral project involves combining recent advances in TDM with the design of advanced computational imaging systems crafted to stealthily map highly scattering three dimensional biological samples. The main objective of this project is to carry out the collaborative design of the optical system and the reconstruction algorithms, and to establish their characteristics and limitations. As the design progresses, the tool will be challenged on the biological samples it is intended to image. These are tubular organoids blanketed in a thin layer of alginate. The mounting of these samples will also have to be considered in the configuration of the system.Qualifications requiredPhD in physics, engineering, biophysics or related fieldKnowledge of inverse problem approaches for imagingAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
