Why work for Maritime Transport? * Competitive salary * Annual salary review (discretionary). * Annual bonus (discretionary). * 20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays on top from day 1. * Life assurance cover x3 from day 1. * Maritime weekly lottery (chance to win one thousand pounds every week) * Group personal pension. * Employee assistance programme. * You’ll be working for one of the market leaders Night Transport Operator - Duties & Responsibilities: * Dealing with multiple drivers * Communicating with ports * Booking delivery slots for entry in ports * Using a Transport system called TOPS for putting down drivers start times and finish times * Chasing drivers for etas and making sure they are on time * Rerouting jobs as and when is needed * Checking all PODS are matched up with all the correct jobs on the system * Speaking to customers on possible delays advising et We are looking for candidates to apply who have the following: * Previous experience as a Transport Operator – Essential * Confident and clear communicator – written and verbal * Must be happy to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern * Excellent UK geographical knowledge * Can work on own initiative * Quick and efficient problem solving skills * Organised at all times * Flexibility to meet the demands of the business The Company Maritime Transport Ltd. is one of the largest, privately-owned intermodal transport operators in the UK.
