Brkaway is a platform that matches brands with content creators and provides both parties with an end-to-end process tailored for creating videos specifically for a brand's social communities. Brands get their dream team of creators, creators get access to paid work regardless of their follower count, and both parties get a platform that works for them.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for an eager software engineer to join Brkaway on our mission to change the way brands and creators work with one another. As an early member of our engineering team you’ll be working on continually improving the Brkaway platform. You will have exposure to every aspect of the software development cycle and get to work alongside an incredible team of talented engineers.
What You’ll Do
Design, build and maintain APIs, services and systems across Brkaway’s tech platform
Continue to improve the Brkaway platform by leading the technical planning, development, and launch of features brands and creators will love
Work with the founders and engineering team to help ensure the Brkaway platform is delivering incredible brand/creator experiences
Contribute to system architecture discussions as we build a stable, scalable platform
Write, deploy, monitor and maintain code to production that will be used to create Brkaway’s products and services
Review your peers’ code and architecture designs
Contribute to weekly demos and be an active participant in planning and scoping sessions
Ideal Candidates
A track record of building stable products/features that users love
3+ years experience as software developer, ideally with experience using NodeJS, TypeScript, SQL, ReactJS, HTML, CSS
Previous experience at an early stage startup is a bonus!
Passion for solving hard problems and the ability to work well in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and at times ambiguous environment
A preference for working closely with others, we are a small team and have success through cross collaboration
A drive to continue to learn new tools and technologies
