Job Requirement: Are you ready to take your career to the next level as a Corporate & Office Services Clerk? Our client is established in 1993 and located in downtown Vancouver. Our client is one of Vancouver's premier boutique commercial law firms providing services to many of the province’s industry leaders. We are currently recruiting for a Corporate & Office Services Clerk to join our Corporate Services and Administrative teams and provide Reception relief on a part-time basis. The hours for this position will be 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with a one-hour, unpaid lunch break. Salary range is between – CAD $48,000 – CAD $ 52,000 based on your level of experience, certifications and the skills you possess. The successful candidate will: prioritize and manage a high volume of traffic/work in a very fast paced environment; possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; demonstrate excellent customer service skills; respond to various requests in a timely manner, for both internal (lawyers and staff) and external clients (when/if required); possess strong skills in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Word and Excel; display professionalism, discretion and confidentiality; and be proactive and anticipate needs or next steps. Duties include but are not limited to: Acting as the primary reception relief (approximately 2 hours per day); Perform meeting management functions including, scheduling appointments and booking boardrooms; Perform due diligence searches including BC Online, Personal Property Registry, LTSA and ancillary searches; Preparing and filing annual maintenance; Assisting with billing for corporate services department; Scanning records and establishing virtual minute books Document preparation and management and logistical support for corporate/commercial transactions; Providing general administrative support for our Corporate Commercial and Real Estate practitioners; Assisting the Administrative team in the management of the day-to-day office services and facilities of the premises, including working with the team to order and stock supplies, managing library subscriptions and assisting in managing the firm’s closed file database; and Assisting in the planning for office summer and winter parties, client Christmas gifts and cards. Experience in a legal and/or professional services environment and experience using PC Law and ALF would be an asset.
