Our organization is a cross-functional group, accountable for Amadeus shopping and reservation platforms. It brings together shopping and reservation expertise to oversee critical projects such as New Distribution Capabilities, with strengthened collaboration with the Travel Unit and Hospitality business units. The Mobility & Travel Protection domain is rapidly growing, maintaining double-digit growth since 2019, with significant business growth forecasted above 110 million Euros in 2024.
In addition to Mobility & Travel Protection products, MTE is focusing on Sustainability, with the first Carbon Offset component and the Sustainability platform. The group is responsible for Chatbot applications with GenAI.
Purpose
The head of MTE is accountable for the engineering strategy and deliveries for Sustainability components, Chatbot applications, and the full Mobility and Travel Protection scope. They lead most of the R&D teams related to Mobility and Travel Protection Services, covering the full distribution flow from shopping to booking and after-sales.
The head of MTE is fully accountable for the product strategy with the commercial counterpart and guides the full product distribution stack, ensuring product evolution and sustainability.
Your Main Responsibilities
Keep the organization of engineering activities aligned with evolving business needs in collaboration with main BUs and initiatives.
Design, develop/build, and support scalable and efficient deliverables.
Guide various transformation programs, including leadership hiring and Tech-Based Hiring.
Develop POC prototypes for Go-To-Market plans and product evaluations.
Foster innovation and ensure Continuous Improvement programs.
Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
