We are recruiting on behalf of a renowned Waste Management consultancy for an experienced Environmental Consultant to handle site permitting for their clients. Leveraging your technical expertise in land quality characterization, you will conduct risk assessments and deliver commercially viable and sustainable solutions. Staying abreast of all relevant legislation, government guidelines, and current research is crucial to ensure compliance with legislative, health and safety, risk assessment, and liability standards. Key responsibilities include: Conducting site permitting, site investigations, and assessments Preparing reports to support planning and permit applications Ensuring adherence to company regulations during visits Completing necessary paperwork EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: A degree in Environmental Science or a related field Experience in preparing applications for Environmental Permits Proven ability to liaise effectively with the Environment Agency (EA) Strong written and verbal communication skills A full UK driving licence and own transport for site visits Ability to work independently and as part of a team Relevant Industries: This role offers a dynamic work environment where you can make a significant impact in the waste management sector while developing your professional skills.
