They create premium fuel systems, electrical systems and aftermarket parts for internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles and industrial applications and they are looking for a Systems Engineer. As a Systems Engineer your main responsibility will be to develop real-time, safety critical powertrain systems for use within passenger vehicle and commercial vehicle applications. Job Responsibilities: * Designing control algorithms & strategies (using Matlab Simulink/Stateflow), and autogenerating code for production intent software * Designing system diagnostics and CAN communication specifications * Developing validation tests for electrical test bench, HiL and vehicle * Development of functional safety strategies to EGAS standard Capturing and analysing customer requirements * Provide expertise for investigations and problem solving activities * Supporting the customer’s engine and vehicle testing * Supporting system and hardware FMEA * Provide guidance to systems engineers and peers Experience Required: * Minimum of 2 years’ experience in developing real time embedded systems * Understanding of Matlab Simulink and Stateflow * Use of CCP calibration tools (e.g. INCA, ATI Vision, CANape) * Educated to degree level in engineering or equivalent * Minimum of 2 years’ experience in developing real time embedded systems
